You could call what I am about to say absolutely outrageous, and I wouldn’t blame you one bit. But the truth is: LeBron James does not deserve a single All-NBA First Team vote over the likes of the three best forwards in basketball, in the 2018-2019 regular season.
Is LeBron the best player in the world? Overall, yes. But this season, we must applaud Giannis Antetokounmpo for leading the Milwaukee Bucks to the best record in the NBA. Paul George has also taken a huge step forward, putting him in the argument of being the best two-way player in the game.
In the past eleven years, James has been named to the All-NBA First Team, which is essentially the ultimate starting five of players from any given season. The King missing over a month with an injury and the Los Angeles Lakers currently holding the ten seed in the West.
The best fifteen players in basketball today will be determined by the outcome of the three All-NBA teams to be announced sometime after the season. On top of that, we’ll put together our projections for each NBA award — from MVP to Rookie of the Year.
Lets show our respect by shouting out the guys who deserve recognition for their outstanding play.
