Warriors’ Stephen Curry suggests Dwyane Wade doesn’t look like in retirement shape

For Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen CurryMiami Heat icon Dwyane Wade still has more years of game left in the tank.

Per Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Curry shared what he told Wade when they exchanged pleasantries after their game on Sunday.

“Seems like he’s got a lot left in the tank. That’s what I told him postgame…Are you sure you don’t got a couple years left?”

Curry also pointed out how Wade has been important in the game of basketball. For Curry, it doesn’t matter which side you’re on. When you see Wade play, you can’t help but be amazed at what he’s done throughout the course of his 16-year career.

In the Warriors’ 120-118 win, the 37-year-old Wade logged in 10 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. He also had a big block on Kevin Durant in crunch time which led to a fastbreak finish. It’s probably one of his trademark moves — a perfectly-timed block coming off the weak side.

He may not be as explosive as before, but Wade still has that killer instinct on defense which made him one of the best guards in the league. Maybe Curry’s right. Perhaps Wade should take another moment to reflect whether or not he’s done with the game.
