Another big-name NBA player is closing in on hiring Rich Paul of Klutch Sports to represent him, according to a report.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports Draymond Green, the mercurial forward for the two-time defending-champion Golden State Warriors, is close to hiring Paul.
Green was previously represented by Wasserman.
After this season, Green, 28, will have one year left on a five-year, $82 million deal he signed in 2015.
The three-time All-Star, regarded as one of the most versatile defenders in the league, is averaging 7.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 43 games for Golden State this season.
Paul has already added Anthony Davis and Markieff and Marcus Morris as clients in the last six months.
Also among his clients are LeBron James, John Wall, Ben Simmons, Eric Bledsoe and Tristan Thompson, among others.
